Corporate FunRun’s Response to COVID-19:

CORONAVIRUS AND THE 2020 CORPORATE FUNRUN EVENTS CALENDAR

Obviously, these are uncertain and crazy times, but we wanted to let everybody know a few things regarding the upcoming Corporate FunRun events which hopefully will increase everybody’s comfort levels moving forward.

For all rescheduled events, they are going to be the exact same event in all aspects except for the date. Same 5-9 pm time frame, same 5k course, same DJ, same photographer, same food and beer plan, same course manager, same timing & scoring company etc etc.

For those companies that have already registered for a rescheduled event, although experience dictates that more than 90% of your team members will be able to attend on the new date (because most people live/work locally and it’s on a weekday night) we understand that some people will who could make the original date won’t be able to make the new date and conversely some people who couldn’t make the original date will be able to make the new date. Simply stated, team captains don’t have to bother deleting any team members who can’t make the new date from their team. Please try and put together the best team that you can, and a few days before the race, just tell us how many on the total team member list can attend and we will simply invoice you accordingly. Thus, you will have labeled bibs for all team members registered for both dates, but only will pay for the team members that can participate on the new date.

For all 23 events, we are fairly confident that “conditions on the ground” will enable us to event host on the respective event date, but if the virus still exists at that time and we have to cancel, WE WILL. Our corporate relationships and the health and well being of all team members is always paramount to us and we would never put either at risk.

If we do have to cancel an event, all “company pay” teams will have NO FINANCIAL PAYMENT obligation whatsoever. You only pay us for your team members if the event happens. Thus, please make your best team assemblage efforts whenever you deem appropriate because your firm bears zero financial risk. For “individual pay” teams, credits towards the 2021 race will be issued to all team members.

Fingers crossed, but hopefully we will be able to provide everybody with a great race night experience.
